EFFECTS OF CYBER BULLYING

As we all know this generation is socialising the world and is soon going to adopt new technologies. Social media where a large number of people meet and connect over the internet as people are going with the trend and are connecting with different people from different areas we don’t know the actual reality of how a person is?

 

So following are the major effects of cyberbullying:

1. Humiliation: Humiliation is lowering the pride, self-respect or dignity of a person. A cyber bully's most powerful weapon is causing their target to feel shame and humiliation- the two worst emotions humans can feel. Specially being humiliated in front of the world is down right horrific. Cyberbullying leaves mental scars for a long period of time. No matter what it is, it can be photos, comments,etc and these time periods are enough for someone to feel humiliated and take some serious steps regarding their life.

2. Worthlessness: One of the crucial effect of cyber bullying  is feeling worthlessness. People bully for fun but that fun could be lifetime fear for someone.This could seriously affect their career as well as their social life.These type of people hesitates to make friends which make them feel like they can't do anything with their life, also their life is nothing but a blank piece. Worthlessness also leads to low self esteem.

3. Isolation: Most of the cyberbullying victims are forced to stay away from any and all social sites in a bid to escape clutches of tormentors. These can cause them to feel ostracized and isolated. This situation is particularly devastating since friends and family are needed at this difficult time.

  Gender inequality is a pressing issue in Indian society. Despite a constitution that guarantees equal rights for men and women and decades of legislation, some deep-rooted gender discrimination in India takes a brutal toll on women’s lives.
